Pair of Louis XV Style Chairs

Item Details

A pair of Louis XV style chairs. This selection includes an armchair and side chair, both including cartouche shaped backs with carved crest rails, scalloped and carved aprons, and cabriole legs with carved knees and whorl feet. The backs and seats are upholstered in a lilac and cream plaid fabric with brass nailhead trim. The armchair includes cushion rest arms with curved supports and both are upholstered in a plaid fabric.

Condition

- nicks and scuffing to wood finish of both chairs; some wear to the fabric.
