1960s Uncle Sam's 3-Coin Register Banks

A collection of three Uncle Sam’s 3-Coin Register Banks, produced by the Western Stamping Corp. circa the early 1960s. This collection includes a black, a red and an orange steel coin bank shaped like old-fashioned cash registers. The mechanical banks have a single slot and a scrolling ‘Amount Deposited’ display designed to count deposited nickels, dimes and quarters; according to the label, ‘Banks lock at 25¢; will not re-open until $10.00 is deposited’. An instruction label on the back reads ‘Western Stamping Corp. P. O. Box 211 – Jackson, Michigan’.
Condition
- to fair; two banks missing handles; some paint loss; general wear, dirt and discoloration; untested.
