Vintage Louis XV Style Walnut Display Case

Item Details

A vintage Louis XV style walnut display case with walnut and fruitwood veneers. The cabinet features a shaped, rectangular top over a case with a hinged glass door, glass paneled sides, and a mirrored back. The canted corners are embellished with carved tied ribbons and flowers and inside the case are two glass shelves. The piece has a dovetailed, book matched veneered drawer with a scalloped bottom edge and fitted with two decorative brass-plated ring pulls. The piece stands on slender cabriole legs with bellflower carvings above the knees.
