A hand-painted plaster bas relief plaque of Westminster Abbey. This piece, believed to be cast from Ivorex waxed plaster, features raised details with red and green color carefully applied to give an impression of warmth and depth. Westminster Abbey is marked with incised writing to the lower left, and the piece includes a length of string for hanging to its verso.

Condition

- moderate discoloration to paint; mild abrasion wear throughout, particularly to edges and verso; pen markings along the top the Abbey.
