Reverse-Printed Silhouette Portraits on Glass Including Cowboy and Cowgirl
Item Details
A set of six mid to late 20th-century reverse-printed silhouette portraits on glass, most set against decorative printed paper backings. Featured are two pieces each depicting a cowboy and cowgirl riding together against a sunset landscape. Also included are three prints depicting couples in 18th and 19th century attire. They are presented in slim metal frames, most with a hanging tab to the verso. The set also includes a similar work depicting a man and boy, each wearing a sailor’s uniform; it is presented in a cream wooden frame with carved accents.

- to Fair; small scratches and nicks to some silhouettes; buckling to backing on one item; foxing, yellowing and discoloration to some backings with age; tarnish, edge wear, loose joints and discoloration to metal frames; loose joints, small chips and scratching to wooden frame; areas of dust and accretion to all items; not all pieces have hanging hardware; holes, damage and tape residue present to some backings.
