An antique Victorian bamboo-turned and caned corner chair, accompanied by an antique child’s rocking chair. The late 19th century corner chair features crest rails, supports, and stiles turned to resemble bamboo. The square seat with inset cane rises above the tapered legs connected by a turned double box stretcher. The child’s rocking chair features cylindrical stiles connected by a pair of stretchers that connect to the square woven seat flanked by plank arms that rises above cylindrical legs terminating on rockers and connected by a box stretcher.
