Item Details
A signed original watercolor painting by Cincinnati artist Louis Spiegel. This piece depicts a figure in robes and a skull cap reading from a book with the star of David on the cover. The piece is signed by hand to the lower right. It is presented behind glass and in a gold-tone carved wood frame with a linen liner and gold-tone fillet. The verso of this piece includes an ink sketch of a similar figure, dated ’67. It is equipped to hang.
Condition
- there is some staining to the linen liner.
