Item Details
A selection of watercolor paintings on paper of landscapes by contemporary Thai artist Supote Krikul. These three paintings depict well-rendered scenes of barren birch trees framing gloomy brooks surrounded by darkened, pooled pigment with an occasional mallard flying through the scene. To the lower right corner of each composition are artist signatures in ink, with a copyright symbol next to a date (1981) and the word ‘Mallard’. The paintings are presented under glass beneath matting in stained wooden frames with hanging hardware to the verso.

- discoloration to mat of one side panel; significant scratches and dents to one side panel and center frame.
