A pair of vintage Italian restaurant menus. This pair includes one 1966 halftone print menu for the Roman restaurant Cacere Inquisatore ‘da Ciceruacchio’ which is designed to look like an official visitor’s pass to a prison. The second piece is a lithograph menu for the restaurant ‘Ristorante Zi’Teresa’ which depicts various figures around the border interacting with eachother and doing acrobatics. The bottom of the print features in-plate text with publisher information. Both menus are housed in wooden frames under glass.
Condition
- discoloration to page throughout; nicks and minor wear to frame.
