An assortment of Democratic National Committee chairman Clem L. Shaver newspaper clippings and other ephemera in two albums. Shaver (1867-1954) was a West Virginia politician who rose to prominence as the DNC chairman from 1924-1928, and mounted an unsuccessful campaign for the United States Senate in 1934. The collection includes a variety of newspaper articles regarding his political career pasted into two black albums.
