A pair of artist’s proof offset lithographs on paper after works titled Secretariat and Man O’ War by Helen Hayse (American, 1913 – 2003). Secretariat depicts the 1973 Triple Crown winner with his groom Luther Jones at Claiborne farm. This print features pencil illustrations of jockeys racing on their steeds to the lower margins. Man O’ War depicts a brown Thoroughbred with his famous groom Will Harbut in a farm setting. This print features pencil illustrations of horses to the lower margins. Both are signed and inscribed ‘AP’ by hand in graphite to the lower margins. They are presented unframed, awaiting your choice of presentation.
