An oil painting on canvas of figures. This Abstract Expressionist style painting depicts two men in coats walking alongside one another, both of which are rendered with a gestural application of pigment reinforced with thinner brush strokes. The painting features a slight impasto to the layered surface. This unsigned work is presented in a thin, black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- nicks and scratches around the frame; the frame on the lower right looks to have been cut short and a short piece was added to complete the frame – it does not fit seamlessly; splotched residue to verso.
