Vintage Oak "Boys Union Tool Chest"

An oak Boys Union tool chest circa 1920-1930. This small rectangular toy tool box was designed to replicate an adult tool box and tools of the time period. The exterior shows a framed lid, dovetail joined corners, hook closure and tray style base. This box retains the blue and white paper label inside the lid and a removable tray. A wooden cross and slide rule were not original to the piece.

Condition

- surface scratches, nicks, marks, finish wear and small chipping of wood. Glue/resin visible on left side of lid and inside of box. paper label scratched and wearing off.
