Gorham and Dunkirk Silversmiths Shell-Shaped Sterling Bon Bon Bowls

A three-piece collection of shell-shaped sterling silver bon bon bowls. This includes a bowl from 1949 by Gorham that rests on two spherical feet, marked to the underside ‘Gorham Sterling 42677’ along with the 1949 date mark and the three pseudo hallmarks of a lion, an anchor, and a Gothic ‘G’. It is presented with a pair of bowls by Dunkirk Silversmiths of Meriden, CT (active c.1945-1950), marked to the undersides with the maker’s mark above ‘Sterling 150’. The total approximate weight is 8.075 ozt.
