A serigraph invitation on paper after French artist Henri Matisse titled Madame de Pompadour. This serigraph depicts a woman’s face along with various shapes and patches expressed with vibrant hues. It is inscribed ‘Madame de Pompadour recoit le mardi 20 novembre 1951 au Pavillon de Marsan’ and bears the artist’s in-plate signature to the lower left corner. The serigraph is presented framed under glass with a sawtooth hanger in verso.
