A hand-knotted Chinese carved silk accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cobalt, indigo, ivory, sepia, rust, emerald, ochre, and sage. The cobalt colored field features a sculpted a flowering branch along with architectural structures and clouds floating above. The field is framed in a solid indigo border and finished with overcast selvedges and a fine natural warp fringe to the ends, along with a sewn on pocket with rod and rings. Unlabeled.
