Pair of Bayonets with Metal Pipe Section
Item Details
A pair of socket bayonets with a piece of vintage pipe. This lot includes two socket bayonets, one of which includes a leather scabbard with brass accents and engraved with the pre-1895 War Department acceptance mark, along with the number 778. Also included is a section of vintage plumbing pipe with a hand pump, marked with the logo of the Country Gentlemen’s Association of Letchworth, Hertfordshire, England.
Condition
- discoloration and wear consistent with age to all pieces; splitting to the leather of the scabbard
