A gouache landscape painting on board by listed artist Ernst Ekberg (1854 – 1906). This work depicts a forest scene with lush green trees overlooking a vast lake with mountains in the background under a blue sky. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower left. It is presented behind a beige mat with hand painted decorative lines, behind glass, in a wooden frame with a hanging wire to the verso.

- debris under glass; toning and foxing to mat; frame has surface we consistent with age.
