Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian runner. This wool rug features a Persian-tribal-inspired design in a palette of burgundy, cream, ivory, green, and tangerine. The design consists of vertical panels of varying widths, each running the length of the field, the panels incorporating running water patterns, tree of life motifs, peacocks, and stylized florets and flowering plants. Selvedges are overcast in burgundy and black, the rug finishing at each end with variegated wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
