A 1960 original watercolor painting on paper by Ohio artist Marjorie Watson Ewell (1915 – 1974). The abstract painting suggests a landscape through broad gestural strokes of a dry brush in curvelinear patterns. It is rendered in a limited palette of blue, green, yellow and black. This piece is signed and dated to the lower right. Presented behind an off-white mat, under glass in a tan, faux bamboo wood frame. A hanging wire is present to the verso.

- toning to print and mat. Debris under glass. Wear to finish of frame.
