A brass plaque titled Guardian of Our Nation by artist Leon A. Dombrowski. This plaque features Uncle Sam confidently standing behind the U.S. Capitol Building, which is being lit up by the rising sun. It is signed in plate to the lower right corner and titled to the lower margin. A label to the verso reads, ‘Korean War Period.’ This plaque is presented mounted on a carved wooden panel; fitted with a hanging ‘O’ ring to the top.
