A selection of vintage hand-painted porcelain including Krister Porzellan Manufaktur. These two dishes are painted with detailed red berry bushes on a graduated gray ground. They are finished with gilt trim to the edge and signed ‘Mrs. Beens’ to the verso. The blank bears a blue underglaze mark indicating a production date between 1904-1927. Also included is a teacup and saucer set by Wehinger and Company decorated with delicate purple violets. The piece is signed to the underside and bears a mark indicating production of the blank between 1905-1918. Two additional sets of teacups and saucers are also included, each accented with a floral motif. Decorating porcelain blanks was a popular hobby for women in the late 19th and early 20th century.
