A handwoven Kurdish wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, indigo, emerald, rose, ivory, and saffron. The rose and cranberry striped field features latticed ashik diamond medallions with Iranian Jaff animal head motifs. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends, and goes unlabeled. There is also a small hand-knotted rug remnant with a striped long looped fringe also featuring floral and barber pole patterns, unlabeled.
