Antique Royal Crown Derby "Imari Scissors" Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
A selection of porcelain tableware by Royal Crown Derby in the Imari Scissors pattern. Included is a bread plate, bowl, and creamer. Each is decorated with elaborate red flowers, interspersed with a gilt scissor motif. A serrated cobalt band circles each piece, finished with copious gilt swirls. Each item bears a red underglaze mark to the base. The plate and bowl are also marked with a red ‘M’ indicating a production date of 1906; the creamer was made in 1905.
Condition
- crazing to base of bowl; minor marks and surface wear consistent with gentle use; minor discoloration to undersides.
