Silver Plate Salt and Pepper Shakers with Porcelain Tea Service

An assortment of serveware. Featured are a pair of silver plate salt and pepper shakers with a matching under plate. The shakers feature urn-shaped forms with wide rims and engraved foliate and floral motifs to the exterior. They have pierced dome lids and rise above three bowed feet. The oval under plate features a similar design with decorative trim. Each bears a ‘Made in India’ sticker to the underside and all are presented in a velvet display case. Also included is a porcelain tea service comprising five teacups and five saucers. Each features a sky blue glaze with a white center accented by flying birds and gold trim. The undersides are marked with an Asian maker’s mark and they are presented in their original box.
