A stoneware Henry McKenna sour mash bourbon whiskey jug. This half gallon jug has an off-white glaze with blue text and a tulip stencil style design. The top of the jug has a label affixed reading ‘U.S. ARMY Open Mess’ The front of the jugs text reads “Henry McKenna sour mash bourbon whiskey-Fairfield, Nelson County, Kentucky-since 1855.’ Above the text is a Henry McKenna sticker for the previous contents. The jug has a cork stopper.
