A brass rubbing of Lady Margaret Francis Peyton, taken from the fifteenth century brass cathedral plaque of her effigy at St. Andrew’s Church, Cambridgeshire, England. The complete original plaque includes Thomas Peyton, the first Lady Margaret Bernard Peyton known as the ‘Lace Lady,’ and the second Lady Margaret Francis Peyton. This hand rubbing is rendered in a gold-tone metallic pastel on black paper. It is presented in a gold tone frame under glass with a wire to the verso for hanging. The reverse is marked ‘custom framed by Fernandez Art-Craft, Kettering, Ohio.’
