Victorian Quarter Sawn Oak Buffet and Mirror
Item Details
A vintage Victorian style quarter sawn oak buffet cabinet and separate mirror. At top is a horizontal, beveled mirror in an oak frame featuring a molded cornice with carved blocks above serpentine supports holding two candle sconces. It rests on a ledge base. The cabinet has a planked tiger oak top with molded edges over two aligned machine-dovetailed drawers with serpentine fronts and one long drawer, all featuring brass bail pulls and key hole escutcheons. The lower part of the cabinet includes two doors with ring pulls on floret plates. It stands on carved legs with caster wheels joined by a cylindrical apron.

- to fair: top shows marks and finish wear/fading; all over surface scratches, nicks and marks; some silver loss to mirror. missing escutcheon on long drawer.
