Item Details
A pair of metal contemporary Babe Ruth advertising signs. The Pinch-Hit sign is dated 1989; it features Babe, holding his baseball bats and a pouch of Pinch Hit chewing tobacco. Babe’s likeness is used to promote ‘Bambino Cola’; this sign is not dated. Each sign has four manufactured holes, one at each corner. The Bambino Cola sign was made in 1991 by AAA Sign Co., located in Coitsville, Ohio.
Condition
- Pinch-Hit sign has residue from a price tag on the left side along the green fence and Babe’s pants
- Pinch-Hit sign has paint loss at the top around “Babe”
