A set of sterling silver flatware by State House. This is in the Grosvenor N. Allen and Lloyd E. Ressegger designed Formality pattern, which features an elongated coffin style handle with textured borders and reeded accents. The forty-four piece set includes a master butter knife, a sugar spoon, two serving spoons, sixteen teaspoons, eight salad forks, and eight dinner forks, marked ‘State House Sterling’ and ‘Formality’ to the backs. They are presented with eight dinner knives with stainless blades and sterling handles. The total approximate weight, excluding the dinner knives with stainless blades, is 40.605 ozt.
Condition
