1908 Levi & Salaman Birmingham Sterling Silver and Glass Scent Bottle

An antique late Edwardian era sterling silver and glass scent bottle by silversmiths Levi & Salaman of Birmingham, England. This piece features an elongated square glass body with a round sterling silver lid. The round, hinged lid is topped with a bright green guilloche enamel design framed by white rectangles. The rim is marked with an L&S maker’s mark, an anchor for Birmingham, a lion passant for sterling, and a lowercase ‘i’ in a cartouche for 1908.

Condition

- slight tarnish on sterling cap; one top edge of bottle has (mostly) smooth chip along its length – damage or miscast; corners have very minor chips.
