A collection of Philippe Deshoulieres porcelain canape plates and other serveware. Featured in this group are four small plates featuring a raised lattice border and images of different cuisine and wine pairings. The largest plate shows an image of several men sitting at a wooden table eating cheese and bread, with a woman serving them. It has a banner to the top reading ‘Les Fromages.’ It is also from Philippe Deshoulieres and is marked as such to the underside. Accompanying these items are two small plates which are hand decorated with a French revolution theme, including the words ‘A Ca Ira’ and the date 1791. The mark on the underside of these plates is indistinguishable.
