Kate Adams Miniature Quilt "Rally Round the Flag"

A miniature quilt by American artist Kate Adams. This piece is titled Rally Round the Flag and features a central depiction of an early American flag surrounded by panels with patriotic sayings written in in on the cloth. It is modeled after traditional American quilts and made using vintage fabric scraps. The piece is signed by hand to the backing in the lower right, dated 2001 to the lower center, and titled to the lower left, with a label affixed to the verso marking it as one in an edition of 4 and giving information on the piece. This work is presented with a mat, under glass, and in a stained wood frame with raised corners and wire to the verso for hanging.

- mild discoloration to mat; minor wear to frame; dent in frame at top right.
