A handwoven Mexican wool area rug. This flatweave rug is rendered in a palette of browns, black, ivory, pale yellow, and clementine. The center of the field features a battle dressed warrior figure bordered in a comb pattern along with star motifs, along with bands of stripes to each end. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
