A handwoven Romanian Bessarabian kilim wool area rug. This flatweave rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, ivory, sage, camel, rust, sepia, and charcoal. The horizontally striped field features ram’s horn, and geometric motifs bordered in a sawtooth pattern. Framing the field is also a medallion main border with mirrored medallions to the edges, along with cross motifs. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and double knotted natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
