A mid century reproduction print on board after a circa 1846 painting by listed German artist Eduard Magnus (1799 – 1872). The piece depicts a portrait of Swedish opera soprano Jenny Lind, shown smiling faintly and seated in an interior setting. The print is presented without glass in an oval gold tone wooden frame with foliate gesso embellishments throughout, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- discoloration to image and yellowing to varnish; stains and drips of residue present throughout print surface; edge wear and scuffing to frame with cracks and chips to gesso; tears to frame’s backing paper.
