Vintage Neoclassical Style Wall Mirror with Églomisé Panel by Palladio

Item Details

A vintage Neoclassical style wall mirror with an églomisé panel by Palladio. The wooden, parcel-gilt frame features a molded cornice above a reverse-painted panel and a rectangular mirror plate with beaded liners. The stiles consist of ebonized columns with Ionic capitals continuing to outscrolled feet. The back retains a hanging wire and it is stamped ‘Palladio / Made In Italy’ with a paper label marked ‘Feb. 69 / Palladio / M 267’.
