A 1948 oil pastel drawing on paper by an unnamed cartoonist who worked for the Baltimore Sun newspaper in the 1940s. The piece depicts mid-century Baltimore television personality Bob Davis in a palette of grey and black against an off-white ground. The unsigned work is matted in cream and presented under glass in a black wooden frame with hanging wire mounted to the verso. The frame includes a label with information about the work and subject.
