Item Details
An oil painting on canvas board of a lighthouse scene signed by artist G. Helm. This painting depicts a roaring ocean cascading against clusters of rocks, flowing to the foreground in a choppy manner. To the distance is a coastal town featuring a lone lighthouse and silhouetted form approaching it. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted signature, dated 1958. The painting is presented in a cream and bronze tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- edge wear to frame. small white spots of residue on canvas; discoloration to varnish; wear to painted surface of frame; corners of frame separating; scuffing to backing board.
