Item Details
A pair of vintage Classical style ebonized and parcel-gilt pedestals with marble terminals. The pedestals feature square, black marble platforms above cylindrical standards with foliate-carved capitals and ringed accents. They are further embellished with gilt, scrolled-foliate stencils flanking painted, bucolic reserves depicting women engaged in leisurely activities. The pedestals rise on stepped, black marble socles surrounded by molded, gilt bands. They are unmarked.

Condition
- to fair; some small chips to edges of marble platforms and bases; one pedestal with larger chips along bottom edge of base; same pedestal with a couple large chips/losses to lower, central ring of standard; both with intentional distressing to gilding and simulated craquelure.
