An oil painting on canvas titled A Desert Shower by George Robert Sherriff (American, 1860-1934). To the left a heavy down pour of rain comes sweeping across the desert land. Rich, fertile lands of green appear in the foreground with shades of yellow and blue color. Signed to the lower left. Presented in an Art Nouveau style gilt and gesso frame.

- faint craquelure present throughout; light scratches and marks to the frame.
