Early 20th-Century Chromolithograph Poster on Paper "Kar-mi"

A chromolithograph poster print on paper advertising a show for the magician Kar-Mi (Joseph B. Hallworth, American, 1872 – 1956), dated 1914. Hallworth was a vaudeville magician, sharpshooter, tattoo artist, and sword sallower who used the stage names ‘Kar-Mi’ and ‘Victorina’. He later changed his surname to ‘Hollingsworth’. The poster has been mounted to cardboard and is housed in a painted wood frame without glass.

Condition

- minor scuffing and dents to the poster in the upper left and lower right corners; minor water stains along the lower right corner.
