A graphite drawing on paper of a female nude by listed artist Edgar Yeager (American, 1904 – 1997), dated 1986. The work depicts the figure in full length. Signed and dated to the lower right corner. Housed in a silver-tone gilt frame under acrylic glass and a double layer of matting. Accompanied by an exhibition catalog on the artist from the Cincinnati Art Galleries.
Known for his modern abstract style and his WPA murals of the Depression era, Yaeger was influenced by European modernists such as Paul Cézanne, Pablo Picasso and Giorgio de Chirico. Yaeger’s work has been exhibited at many institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, the Corcoran Gallery, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, among others.

- minor wear to the finish on the frame, concentrated along the corners.
