A Lanka porcelain elephant Mlesna tea container. Offered is a porcelain elephant tea container in a seated position with its trunk raised and folded back. The white container features cornflower blue and gilt work mandala designs throughout, and was originally used as packaging for ceylon tea from Sri Lanka. The underside is marked ‘Pure Ceylon Tea packed in Sri Lanka by Mlesna Ltd.’
