Pair Of 1970 World Series Ticket Stubs and Riverfront Certificate

A pair of 1970 World Series baseball ticket stubs and ‘First Nighter’ Riverfront Stadium game attendance certificate. From historic Riverfront Stadium, the stubs are from ‘Game 2.’ The Cincinnati Reds played the Baltimore Orioles in this Fall Classic. In front of 51,000 fans, the Orioles beat the Reds 6-5 behind Boog Powell’s home run in this game. The tickets come in their original Cincinnati Reds envelope with United Air Lines advertisements on the back. Finally, there is an unused 1970 ‘First Nighter’ Riverfront Stadium attendance certificate from June 30, enclosed in its original white envelope. Riverfront Stadium became the Reds new ballpark in 1970.

- slight edge and surface wear. The envelope has some discoloration and soiling. the tickets were torn by the stadium usher at the gate of admittance,
