A reproduction print after listed artist Ben Shahn (1898 – 1969), titled Martin Luther King. This monochromatic print on loose paper depicts the influential figure rendered in portraiture, who opens his mouth widely while turned in profile. The textural layering of gray tones are reinforced with a stylized outline of MLK’s face. To the margins is a printed inscription labeling the subject, as well as mentioning this is a reprint. Found to the lower left corner of the composition is an in-plate signature.

- light wear to edges and corners; naturally tends toward rolled state.
