A limited edition signed serigraph print commemorating the 1983 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival designed by Hugh Ricks (1939-2005). This poster depicts a stylized woman with dark wavy hair playing a tambourine, superimposed on a tan background decorated with palm fronds, a white grid, and squiggled red, yellow, and white lines. The date ‘1983’ appears in blue blocks along the bottom. The work is signed both in-plate and in blue graphite by Ricks, and is hand numbered 1552 in an edition of 2500. It is presented loose and unframed.
