Venetian Carnival Mask
Item Details
A Venetian carnival mask. The mask features a smiling face painted white with exaggerated features and large gold painted lips. The mask is painted around the eyes and down the sides of the cheeks with sections of sapphire blue, ruby and gold paint. The mask appears to wear a head covering in the same sapphire blue, ruby and gold paints. The piece has a black ribbon tied in a bow to the back and no maker’s mark.
