An antique Von Schierholz porcelain basket. The hand painted reticulated basket features hand painted flowers to the interior and applied roses and foliage to the exterior. The basket rests on square feet with a flower design. The interior flowers are colored yellow, purple, pink and rust with green foliage. The applied roses are colored yellow and pink with green foliage. The entire piece is accented in gold with each end having wreath handles. Marked on the underside with the von Schierholz logo, impressed with 747 3 1 and marked in red on a foot ‘19’ or ‘61’.
