A pair of sterling silver grooming brushes. Featured is a hairbrush and a hand brush with stiff bristle encased in sterling silver cases. The sterling silver hairbrush case by the Webster Company features reeded accents and Art Deco style engraved and repoussé handwork. The side of the handle is marked with ‘Sterling’ followed by the Webster Company maker’s mark. The sterling silver hand brush case features a rectangular form with foliate repoussé handwork and a personalized engraving to the center. The side of the brush is marked with an illegible mark that appears to be a ‘P’ in a diamond followed by ‘Sterling.’

Condition

- minor surface wear including faint markings and minimal tarnishing; hairbrush has been repaired where the handle meets the brush; personalized engraving to hand brush; corners of hand brush are slightly dented and damaged.
